McKinley Pitts counsels a wide range of employers, from small businesses to mid-sized companies, on workplace matters involving Title VII, FMLA, ADA, ADEA, and FLSA, helping clients navigate complex employment laws and maintain compliance. She advises on hiring and termination practices, employee accommodations, leave management, disciplinary actions, and wage-and-hour issues, as well as developing employment policies, handbooks, and training programs that promote positive work environments and minimize risk. In addition to her advisory work, McKinley represents employers in employment-related litigation in state and federal courts and before administrative agencies. She works with clients across diverse industries, including automotive, education, food and beverage, health care, manufacturing, municipal and government, startups, and transportation and logistics.
Before joining Chambliss, McKinley worked at a Lexington, Kentucky, law firm, where she gained broad experience and a deep appreciation for client-focused service and professional excellence — values that reflect Chambliss’ own commitment to its clients and community. As a former notes editor for the Kentucky Journal of Equine, Agriculture, and Natural Resources Law, she developed a solid foundation in legal research and writing.
