We are seeking a commercial and lending attorney to join our collaborative and talented team. The attorney will have the opportunity to continue growing their practice while benefiting from an already established list of clients. The successful candidate will have at least 3-4 years of experience as an attorney with transactional commercial lending experience.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Specialize in documentation, negotiation, and structuring of financial transactions.
- Complete all stages of the lending cycle, from structuring, drafting, negotiating, and reviewing all loan documents.
- Advise clients on legal aspects regarding regulatory, compliance, and policy matters related to lending.
- Represent lenders, lessors, venture capital groups, investors, and sellers, and borrowers.
- Work in tandem with the real estate division to handle the transactional aspects of loans.
- Complete legal support for commercial lending from due diligence, loan documentation, and preparation of security instruments or guarantee agreements.
- Draft and negotiate leases, purchase and sale agreements, letters of intent, easements, covenants, restriction agreements (or similar title agreements), amendments to any foregoing, etc., for commercial real estate transactions.
- Facilitate closings and complete post-closing documentation and administration.

The successful candidate will have at least 3-4 years of elder law experience guiding individuals, persons with disabilities, trustees, families, and other professionals through the maze of trusts, estate planning, benefit advocacy, probate, finance management, guardianship, and other related concerns.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Represent clients regarding housing, estate planning, guardianship, consumer law matters, public benefits, elder needs, and financial matters.
- Work in tandem with other professionals to ensure services are provided for aged and/or disabled individuals. Make referrals to appropriate alternative or additional sources of assistance.
- Advise clients about personal and health care rights, often collaborating with health care providers, insurance providers, and financial planners to ensure that the rights of the client are preserved.
- Provide financial representation through financial planning, housing planning, estate, and income and gift tax matters.
