Chambliss Elects New Members for 2023 Executive Committee
Chambliss recently announced John Jackson and Laura McKinney were elected by the shareholders to serve on the Executive Committee for 2023. John and Laura will join Mark Cunningham, Justin Furrow, and Mark Turner on the committee. In addition, Cathy Dorvil completed her two-year term with the board. Each committee member was chosen for their leadership and dedication to client and employee success.

John is a shareholder and member of the litigation and risk management section. With a focus on commercial and intellectual property litigation and mediation, John has experience prosecuting and defending claims involving patent, trademark, and copyright infringement, trade secret misappropriation, supplier-dealer issues, breach of warranty/contract, and product liability claims in numerous jurisdictions. He enjoys finding creative ways to help clients resolve conflict and preserve assets. He is a listed as a Tennessee Supreme Court Rule 31 General Civil Mediator, and is also listed as a mediator for the American Intellectual Property Law. Laura is a shareholder and a member of the firm’s business and mergers and acquisitions sections. With over a decade of experience in multiple jurisdictions, she helps navigate the diverse business and legal obstacles that local, national, and global companies encounter.
