Andrew J. "Andy" Leffler
Andy is a member of the firm's Business and Real Estate Sections. He represents regional and national clients on all sides of a real estate deal from contract to closing, whether seller, buyer, lender, landlord, tenant, or investor. He also assists clients with issues and disputes that arise after the closing and between transactions, including easement and reciprocal rights agreements, homeowners association issues, and financial workouts. Finally, Andy has extensive experience with structuring both client organizations and transactions, whether drafting partnership agreements, advising on the interaction between debt and equity financing, or assisting with 1031 transactions of all types. Prior to joining Chambliss, Andy practiced law at a boutique real estate firm in New York City for nearly seven years where he experienced the rapid movement and dynamic fluctuation of the real estate market. During his time in New York, he also gained invaluable court experience in foreclosure and security enforcement proceedings. This experience enables him to advise clients from a variety of perspectives, whether in booming or challenging markets.
