With over 14 years of experience, Maddux is a shareholder who advises businesses on financial services matters such as bankruptcy, insolvency, loan workouts, restructurings, and commercial loan transactions. His deep knowledge of the Uniform Commercial Code and the Bankruptcy Code enables him to effectively work with creditors and debtors, particularly in Chapter 11 business reorganizations and commercial litigation. Known as a respected advocate in the Southeast, Maddux represents creditor clients when their customers, vendors, or borrowers file for bankruptcy and collaborates with lenders on loan transactions.
Yost counsels developers and businesses on real estate acquisition, financing, leasing, land use, and zoning. She assists clients with due diligence, title and survey review, environmental issues, and land use advice, handling deals from small transactions to multimillion-dollar developments. Representing landlords and tenants, she drafts and negotiates leases and has extensive experience working with a metropolitan airport. Yost is known for her responsiveness and practical business approach, as well as for providing tailored legal advice. She stays current with industry changes and legislative updates, guiding clients through evolving real property challenges.
