Chambliss Honored With Crown Award by PRSA for Excellence in a Year of Crisis Communications
The Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) Lookout Chapter recently honored Chambliss, Bahner & Stophel, P.C. with a Crown Award in the large company category. The award recognizes our firm’s creation of the COVID-19 Insight Center and its impact throughout the pandemic. The online insight center, quickly developed in March, houses critical COVID-19 related information for Chambliss clients and the community.
The PRSA Lookout Chapter developed the Crown Awards to recognize excellence in COVID-19 communications in the greater Chattanooga area and to acknowledge the accomplishments made by their communications colleagues in 2020 under these unparalleled circumstances.
Within 24 hours of launching our new website, a team of Chambliss attorneys was feverishly writing content to inform our clients of the changing regulations and new legislation, and the marketing and business development team was busy tweaking content and the backend of the new website to accommodate a newly formed COVID-19 Insight Center. We understood the pandemic created a lot of panic and uncertainty.
“We wanted to concentrate on continuing to be a resource for our clients and the community so they could find direction and clarity during this challenging time. Delivering exceptional service to our community has been our first priority, and our dedication to our clients and community remained unchanged during this unprecedented time,” said Marketing and Business Development Director Aricia Gallaher.
Throughout the pandemic, Chambliss’ team functioned more like a newsroom than a traditional law firm. New content for addressing changing regulations, new legislation, and government executive orders was produced almost daily. In order to do this, the team sacrificed early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays to be certain clients and community members had the most up-to-date information, including considerations for potential impacts to their organizations.
The COVID-19 Insight Center continues to be a valuable resource, sharing legal updates, articles, newsletters, webinars, podcasts, and other resources. It includes key information on:
