VIDEO: Quick Highlights of OSHA’s Emergency Temporary Standard for COVID-19 Vaccination and Testing
Good morning from Chambliss! On behalf of our Labor and Employment team, Justin Furrow is providing a quick update on the just-released OSHA Emergency Temporary Standard for COVID-19 vaccination and testing, which applies to employers with 100 or more employees. Justin briefly defines the meaning of 100 employees and answers burning questions like who is responsible for paying for required testing, what should be done regarding proof of vaccination, and when the requirements go into effect.
In the coming days, our team will be doing a deeper dive into the regulatory requirements and providing additional information. Please contact Justin or a member of the firm’s Labor and Employment team if you have questions or are concerned how this requirement may impact your business.
