Sally Brewer and Rebecca will present to The Florida Bar Association’s Elder Law Section on Thursday, February 22, 2024. Their presentation will explore the intricacies of POST/POLSTs, including what they are, their role in modern estate planning, and whether these forms replace traditional advance directives. In addition, the discussion will highlight case scenarios that illustrate their practical relevance.
Sally Brewer has served as a senior care professional for over 30 years. She often assists with matters related to elder law — such as wills, powers of attorney, and conservatorships — as well as care coordination, placement assistance, dementia consultation, disputes involving large estates and complicated assets, and Medicaid/Veterans benefits attainment. Rebecca Miller is a member of the estate planning section at Chambliss. Rebecca uses her knowledge and expertise to give families peace of mind during life’s most challenging moments.
