Kathleen Siciliano to Present at TAIS Business Office and Human Resources Conference
Kathleen Siciliano will present at the Tennessee Association of Independent Schools (TAIS) Business Office and Human Resources Conference on Friday, April 12, 2024. Her presentation, “Hot Topics in Employment Law — Recent Developments and What’s Next,” will explore recent developments for human resource professionals to consider for the upcoming school year. Kathleen will also discuss recent trends in employment law, legal pitfalls independent schools should avoid, the potential end to noncompete agreements, new religious accommodation standards, the Pregnant Workers Fairness Act, FMLA and ADA updates, and the future of DEI programs.

Kathleen is an associate in Chambliss’ labor and employment section. She counsels employers of all sizes on discrimination and retaliation claims, employment agreements, medical leave and disability concerns, LGBTQ matters, workplace investigations, and restrictive covenants and trade secret enforcement, all while ensuring state and federal employment law compliance.
