Jeffrey Maddux Appointed Member of the Governor’s Council for Judicial Appointments in Tennessee
Jeffrey Maddux was recently appointed by Gov. Bill Lee as a member of the Governor’s Council for Judicial Appointments in Tennessee. The Council for Judicial Appointments operates under the authority of Executive Order No. 87 to interview applicants and make recommendations to the Governor when vacancies occur in the appellate courts.
Jeffrey Maddux is a shareholder and has built a recognized practice representing clients on commercial litigation matters, educational issues, and various financial services. As part of Chambliss’ Economic Development team, he also works with clients to structure and negotiate economic incentives across the region. He has been recognized by Chambers and Partners USA and also by Mid-South Super Lawyers as a Rising Star since 2014 for his practice in business litigation and bankruptcy.
