Steve Barham to Co-Present on Payor Disputes at 2024 TBA Health Law Forum
Steve Barham will co-present at the Tennessee Bar Association (TBA)‘s 36th Annual Health Law Forum on Friday, October 18, 2024. His presentation, “Trends in Commercial Provider/Payor Disputes,” will explore operational aspects of payor disputes, the increasing use of automation in claim adjudication and related implications, and payor audits and recoupment demands. Steve will also discuss other recent trends in payor disputes, including out-of-network claims, diagnosis-related group downgrades, evaluation and management down-coding, and allegedly not-separately reimbursable line items.
The forum will be held October 17-18, 2024, in Franklin, Tennessee, and is open to members and nonmembers. For more information or to register, visit the TBA’s website.
