Steve Barham Highlights Stophel Scholars Program on WUTC Scenic Roots Radio Show
Steve Barham and Brooke McMillen, a 2025 John C. Stophel Distinguished Student Award (Stophel Scholars) recipient, joined Ray Bassett on the Scenic Roots radio show on WUTC. During the interview on May 8, 2025, Steve shared about the Stophel Scholars program’s founding in collaboration with the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga’s (UTC) Gary W. Rollins College of Business and the inspiration behind honoring the legacy of named partner John C. Stophel through an endowment. The recipients are students who have outstanding academics and demonstrate a commitment to their community. Steve also shared future plans for the program and how Chambliss will continue to connect with the College of Business to support and give back to the community’s future leaders.
