Mark Cunningham to Present at 2024 HBMA Revenue Cycle Management Fall Conference
Mark Cunningham will present at the Healthcare Business Management Association (HBMA)‘s 2024 Revenue Cycle Management Fall Conference on Tuesday, September 17, 2024. His keynote presentation, “Legal Lessons from the Change Healthcare Data Breach,” will explore the significant operational and legal impacts of the recent cyberattack on Change Healthcare, which impacted the U.S. health care system and revenue cycle management industry. Mark will analyze key legal issues, risk management strategies, and contractual considerations to help prevent future disruptions, while also discussing potential improvements in the clearinghouse’s framework. Attendees will gain practical tactics to mitigate risks and safeguard against future cyberattacks and related performance issues.
