Jeffrey Maddux Inducted as Chattanooga Bar Foundation Fellow
Jeffrey Maddux was recently inducted as a Fellow of the Chattanooga Bar Foundation during its 2022 Fellow Luncheon. This honor is awarded to attorneys who have demonstrated outstanding service and dedication to the Chattanooga Bar Association and the community. Additionally, attorneys must be nominated by a member of the foundation to be considered.
“The CBA serves not just its members but the entire community,” Jeffrey said. “To be recognized as a Fellow of the CBA among those attorneys who have served and given back is an honor.”
Jeffrey has held leadership roles in several organizations including the Chattanooga Bar Association (CBA) Young Lawyers Division, the Federal Bar Association, the Mid-South Commercial Law Institute, the Tennessee Bar Association’s Leadership Law Program and the Board of Professional Responsibility of the Supreme Court of Tennessee. He has also served on several community boards, including Leadership Chattanooga Alumni Association, United Way, and Cherokee Area Council for Boy Scouts of America.
Jeffrey is a shareholder and has built a national practice representing clients on commercial litigation matters in the education and financial services industries. He often advises on federal and state laws related to regulatory compliance, business reorganizations and liquidations, receiverships, and consumer bankruptcies. He has been recognized Chambers and Partners USA and also by Mid-South Super Lawyers as a Rising Star since 2014 for his practice in business litigation and bankruptcy.
