Advises local government agencies on the handling of Open Records Requests in an effort to comply with state law and maintain confidentiality of proprietary and sensitive information
Conducts workplace investigations by discussing with employers their rights and responsibilities, interviewing complainant and witnesses, and advising on next steps and outcome
Defended Walden Security in unlawful retaliation and sexual orientation discrimination case; obtained pretrial dismissal on all claims
Advise employers on the Fair Labor Standards Act classification of job positions and whether the positions should be classified as exempt or non-exempt
