Chambliss, Bahner & Stophel, P.C. welcomes Dub Ellis, LMSW, to the firm as an elder law and special needs care manager. Dub will collaborate with the estate planning practice area, further bolstering the team and the practice’s ability to deliver tailored, comprehensive elder law services to Chambliss’ clients.

With over two decades of experience, Dub is a Tennessee Licensed Master Social Worker with a versatile skill set that highlights Chambliss’ unique approach to client service. His work centers on uplifting individuals, addressing immediate needs, and methodically planning for future goals, and he is known for his compassionate support, insurance navigation, and placement strategies. His careful and respectful approach, combined with a deep understanding of emotional and psychological needs, sets him apart as a trustworthy advocate for clients and their families. Dub has an extensive background working with clients in various industries and makes a significant impact in the sectors he serves. He possesses substantial knowledge of complex medical systems and collaborates with interdisciplinary teams throughout various levels of health care and housing situations, including hospitals, emergency rooms, intensive care units, outpatient clinics, palliative care, hospice care, independent living, assisted living, memory care, rehabilitation facilities, and nursing homes.
He is a member of the Tennessee Society of Health Care Social Workers (TSHCSW) and a past recipient of the TSHCSW Chattanooga Chapter Social Worker of the Year award. Dub graduated from the University of Tennessee with bachelor’s and master’s degrees in social work.
