Chambliss, Bahner & Stophel, P.C. welcomes two new attorneys, Alexander Blankers and Isabelle Thibault, who will support a variety of the firm’s practice areas, including business, health care, litigation and risk management, and real estate.
“We are thrilled to add Alexander and Isabelle to our growing team,” said President and Managing Shareholder Mark Cunningham. “We look forward to seeing them grow in their individual practices and are excited for the future as we continue to welcome new talent to the firm. With remarkable drive and a shared dedication to upholding our client-focused approach, Alexander and Isabelle will make a meaningful impact at Chambliss.”
Alexander represents corporations in complex commercial and business litigation, specializing in construction and real estate matters. He counsels businesses in cases involving defective design, construction claims, warranty issues, payment disputes, breach of contract, product liability, and fraud. Alexander also routinely represents banks in litigation concerning loan transactions, real estate lending, and foreclosure proceedings. He is dedicated to achieving cost-efficient results and seeks to resolve disputes without litigation, counseling clients on alternative settlement routes such as mediation or arbitration. Alexander earned his bachelor’s degree in nursing from Westminster University and was immediately commissioned into the U.S. Navy upon graduation. He served as a registered nurse for six years, attaining the rank of lieutenant, before being honorably discharged. Blankers then attended the University of Utah S.J. Quinney College of Law, where he graduated with honors.
Isabelle counsels hospital-based professionals in the radiology, anesthesiology, pathology, and revenue cycle management fields on regulatory and corporate health care matters. She assists clients in medical billing and coding matters, physician services, risk management, governance concerns, Medicare claims, and transactional matters. Isabelle also provides counsel on involuntary commitment matters, corporate work, and termination dispute management for physicians’ groups. Her experience extends to contract interpretations, negotiations, analyzing potential contract liability, and aiding clients through business protection post-merger. Isabelle participated in the 3+3 legal studies program at the University of Tennessee at Martin, where she obtained her bachelor’s degree and graduated summa cum laude. She is an alumna of the University of Tennessee College of Law.
