BTI Consulting Group Recognizes Chambliss as Noteworthy in 2024 Litigation Outlook
Chambliss has been recognized as Noteworthy in the BTI Litigation Outlook 2024: Navigating Litigation Spending in the New Unpredictable World report. The 14th annual report identifies subtle and obvious changes related to client spending trends, hiring plans for litigation, and new business development demands. In addition, the report highlights how clients are choosing law firms in 2024.
According to BTI, litigation spending is growing, and a record number of client caseloads create high levels of opportunity for law firms. Clients are hiring law firms that offer the following:
- Early assessment no matter how few facts are known
- An aggressive defense while simultaneously pursuing a settlement
- How other companies in the client’s industry handle similar matters
- Legal project management skills
- Certainty in knowing who will be doing the work
- Skill in anticipating what will come next or arise out of an existing matter
The study’s methodology relies on a group of top legal decision-makers at organizations with $1 billion or more in revenue. More than 280 in-depth telephone interviews were conducted to identify the firms best suited to meet each participant’s most pressing litigation needs. The independent and unbiased study interviewed individuals from a broad range of industries, including banking, consumer goods, energy, financial services, food and agriculture, health care, high tech, insurance, manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, professional services, retail trade, telecom, transportation, and regulated utilities. This comprehensive analysis trends data from more than 24,000 corporate counsel client interviews conducted over the span of 22 years.
BTI also recognized Chambliss as a leading firm in client service for the 13th consecutive year in its Client Service A-Team 2023: Survey of Law Firm Client Service Performance report. In addition, the firm received several other notable recognitions in BTI reports, including its 2018 Legal Innovation and Technology Outlook report and the 2018, 2019, and 2023 editions of its Litigation Outlook report.
