Bill Aiken Recognized for Over Four Decades of Community Commitment
The Chattanoogan recently published “Life with Ferris: Billy Aiken Works Tirelessly for His Community,” an article spotlighting Bill Aiken’s numerous contributions over the past four decades.
In addition to managing his full-time legal practice, Bill also maintains a commitment to impacting Chattanooga through many deserving organizations. He serves on numerous boards, including the Public Education Foundation, the Haitian School Project through Church of the Good Shepherd, the Chattanooga Community Kitchen, the McKenzie Foundation, Songbirds Foundation, and his alma mater, Baylor School. He was also recently inducted into the Tennessee Boys & Girls Clubs (BGC) Hall of Fame.
Here’s a snapshot from the article:
“As a successful lawyer, he doesn’t necessarily have the time. But he does have the inclination. And the determination. And the commitment.
…Over the past four decades, Billy Aiken has kept his sleeves rolled up and his elbows greased as he works tirelessly to benefit the BGCC [Boys & Girls Club of Chattanooga]. He has led capital campaigns that have yielded major fundraising dollars for the organization, including the Stake N Burger event, the club’s largest fundraising event.”
