Amy Boulware to Present at Chattanooga CMSA Conference on Special Needs Planning
Amy Boulware will present at the Chattanooga Case Management Society of America’s (CMSA) conference on Friday, October 4, 2024. Amy’s presentation, “Navigating Special Needs and Conservatorship Planning,” will cover an explanation and timeline for special needs trusts, benefits attainment, and conservatorship. She will help attendees identify the appropriate steps in special needs planning when a child with a disability turns 18, understand the difference between SSI and SSDI benefits as they relate to adult children with disabilities, and grasp the process for conservatorship and its appropriateness with special needs planning.
