Amy Boulware to Present at 2025 Demystifying Death Course
Amy Boulware will be a guest speaker at Welcome Home of Chattanooga‘s Demystifying Death course on March 27, 2025. Amy’s presentation, “Why It is Important to Plan,” will cover key legal and financial issues individuals face after the loss of a loved one. She will highlight common concerns and the importance of proactive planning to prevent unnecessary hardships for family members. Additionally, the discussion will explore the unique challenges of “solo agers” and the role of self-care in the planning process.

Amy Boulware is an elder care and special needs care manager and a Tennessee Licensed Advance Practice Social Worker (LAP MSW). For over 30 years, she has devoted her time to serving elders, people with disabilities, and their families through advocacy and geriatric and special needs care coordination. Amy helps clients navigate a world of senior and disability services and provides hands-on assistance, from advising on geriatric-related matters like Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurance — to working with parents of adult children with disabilities as they age.
