Record Year for Embrace Aging Forum
Chambliss Law hosted the 3rd Annual Embrace Aging Forum on Thursday, August 22, 2019, at the DoubleTree Hotel in Downtown Chattanooga. We cannot thank everyone enough for helping make this event a huge success. This year’s sold out event featured:
- 200+ attendees from over 100 companies
- One-on-one time with 40+ exhibitors
- 15 speakers and a diverse selection of programs
- Valet parking, continental breakfast, and an Italian lunch buffet
Attendees had the opportunity to choose between four different information-filled breakout sessions after kicking off the day:
- Good Meals for Great Health
- Tidying Up Your Personal and Financial Assets
- It’s Time to Have ‘The Talk.’
- Medicare FAQs and Tips for Long-Term and Disability Planning
After the breakout sessions, keynote speaker Marc Freedman gave an incredible presentation on the power of intergenerational connection and how to take action to make your later years full of quality interactions and activities. Marc also discussed his most recent book, ‘How to Live Forever: The Enduring Power of Connecting the Generations’ – named #1 on the Wall Street Journal’s list of ‘best books in 2018 on aging well.
‘We are proud to have welcomed over 40 exhibitors. Attendees took advantage of the one-on-one time with these top resources in aging who were there to offer valuable insight and solutions. Vendors included:

- Specialized health care providers
- Wealth management firms
- Trust companies
- Home care agencies

- Luxury, outdoor, and leisure organizations
- Funeral homes & crematory services
The day ended with our Trends Panel ‘The Latest and Greatest in Remaining Independent and Active as You Age,’ which featured five industry professionals with profound knowledge in supporting the aging community. Companies represented on our Trends Panel included River City Company, the Community Foundation of Greater Chattanooga, Chattanooga State Community College, Evergreen Advisors, and Chattanooga Property Shop/Keller Williams.
