In his article “The Music of Confrontation: Taking Back Independence in Interpreting Tennessee’s Constitution,” he compares the similarities of American courts to an orchestra. Nate considers State v. Seale, Tennessee’s confrontation precedents, and face-to-face confrontation at ratification in his analogy.
