Leah McElmoyl and Amy Boulware to Speak at ALFA’s 47th Annual Commodity Producers Conference
The Alabama Farmers Federation is the state’s largest farm organization and represents every county in Alabama. The Federation is the unified voice of the farming community and promotes advocacy and education for the agricultural and farming industry. ALFA is hosting the 47th Annual Commodity Producers Conference in Chattanooga, TN on August 1-3, 2019. The three-day conference will be held at the Chattanooga Convention Center and will include regional tours, opportunities for networking, and breakout sessions focused on changing legislation, technology, environmental issues, and more. Leah McElmoyl, Chambliss attorney, and Amy Boulware, Chambliss care manager, will present during the general session. Their presentation Planting Seeds and Making Plans: Estate and Succession Planning for Farm Families will focus on the importance of having an updated plan in place to ensure the future of agriculture.
