Chambliss Team Spends MLK Day of Service 2020 Serving Chambliss Center for Children

Chambliss team members spent the morning of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day giving back to the community by volunteering at Chambliss Center for Children. Our volunteers read to students at the center and worked together to clean vacant living apartments to prepare then for new tenants. Many Chattanoogans from local schools, businesses, and other organizations volunteered at project sites across the city to commemorate this day.
Our firm’s connection to the Chambliss Center for Children dates back to 1946 when one of our founding fathers, Judge Alexander Chambliss, started the Chambliss Shelter to aid children who were removed from their homes with no place to go. We are honored to contribute to Dr. King’s legacy with this special service project!
