Chambliss Spends MLK Day of Service 2018 Beautifying Oak Hills Community

Chambliss team members spent Martin Luther King, Jr. Day volunteering for Chattanooga’s MLK Day of Service – “A Day On, Not a Day Off.” Hundreds of Chattanoogans from local schools, businesses, and other organizations volunteered at over 50 project sites across the city to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the death of MLK. Chambliss’ project was in the historic area of Oak Hills. Everyone worked together to pull weeds, plant daffodils, and clear debris from popular gathering areas, such as Milliken Park and the recreation center’s community garden.
