Chambliss Attorneys Honored at 2019 CBA Annual Meeting
At the Chattanooga Bar Association annual meeting, the firm was well represented with Justice Barker receiving the Jac Chambliss Life Time Achievement Award, Bill Aiken receiving the Ralph H. Kelley Humanitarian Award, and Chambliss alum the Honorable Alex McVeagh receiving the Albert L. Hodge Volunteer Award. We are proud of their accomplishments and honored to work with them.
Jac Chambliss Lifetime Achievement Award
This award is presented to a member who has demonstrated the highest standards of excellence for the legal profession; facilitated access to the justice system; served and supported the community; stimulated a feeling of respect, esteem and good fellowship among the members of the profession; maintained a high standard of ethics; represented the highest tradition of personal and professional excellence in Hamilton County; and has devoted significant amounts of time, efforts to activities that benefit the community, and enhance the image and esteem of attorneys in Hamilton County.
Ralph H. Kelley Humanitarian Award
The award is to be given to that member of the legal profession or judicial officer who in the opinion of the Board of Governors has displayed exemplary service to the community of Chattanooga by civic, professional, and/or other activities directed toward improvement and preservation of the lives, property, and dignity of its citizens.
Albert L. Hodge Volunteer Award
This is given to an attorney who has provided exemplary volunteer service to the CBA and the larger legal community.
