CBA Honors Bart Quinn with John M. Higgason Courage Award
On January 31, 2018, the Chattanooga Bar Association (CBA) hosted its 120th annual meeting where award recipients for 2017 were announced. The John M. Higgason Courage Award is one that was established in 2016 and is given to those who have fought through an adverse situation with a courageous and positive attitude. Justin Furrow, a shareholder in our Labor and Employment Section, proudly presented this award for his late colleague Bart Quinn who lost a prolonged battle with cancer last April. Justin shared memories of Bart when honoring his award, including those of Bart’s strong will, work ethic, and positivity amidst his time of illness. Bart’s legacy remains while he continues to inspire those who had the privilege of knowing him and working alongside him. For more information about this honor and the 2017 awards, click here.
