Chambliss will soon host Wills for Heroes, a free estate planning event for local first responders. The event is sponsored by the Tennessee Bar Association Young Lawyers Division and the national Wills for Heroes Foundation. Chambliss and other area attorneys will gather together to provide basic estate planning services to qualified first responders, including active, retired, and volunteer firefighters, police officers, paramedics, corrections and probation officers from federal, state, county, city, and town departments and agencies.
The Wills for Heroes program has been the primary public service project of the Tennessee Bar Association Young Lawyers Division since 2008. To date, the program has benefited nearly 3,000 first responders and their families in the state, and hundreds of attorneys have volunteered their time. This special event is an opportunity to give back to those who give so much to the Hamilton County area. It will take place from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Chambliss Conference Center, located in Liberty Tower at 605 Chestnut Street, Chattanooga, Tennessee.
Individuals can make an appointment by contacting Alex McVeagh, Young Lawyers Division 5 Representative and Chambliss attorney, via 423-757-0237 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
