Chambliss, Bahner & Stophel, P.C. today announced two recent additions to the firm’s estate planning and tax group. Sarah Johnson and Ashli Smith are helping to meet the growing needs of Chambliss clients and attorneys by bringing a wealth of experience and knowledge to the table.
Sarah is a certified public accountant who comes to Chambliss from the public accounting firm Elliott Davis Decosimo. She works in the Chambliss estate planning and tax department, assisting clients with tax planning and compliance. Sarah prepares tax filings for individuals, trusts, small businesses, and foundations. Additionally, she is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Tennessee Society of Certified Public Accountants, and Chattanooga Tax Practitioners.
Ashli, a certified paralegal through the National Association of Legal Assistants, works with individuals and families on an array of estate planning matters. Her responsibilities include overseeing the drafting of estate planning documents, implementing beneficiary and account changes, effectively communicating with clients, and keeping client files and information accurate and up to date.
