Chambliss Law firm’s J. Bartlett Quinn appointed to the Trial Court Vacancy Commission by Lt. Gov. Ron Ramsey

J. Bartlett Quinn, Chambliss, Bahner & Stophel, P.C. shareholder, has been appointed by Lt. Gov. Ron Ramsey to the Trial Court Vacancy Commission. The term commences immediately and will end in January 2018.
The Commission was created to fill vacancies in Tennessee’s trial courts. The commission is charged with giving three nominees to the governor, who may select one of the trio to fill a vacancy in the state’s trial courts or may ask for a new slate. The commission will have 11 members, five each appointed by the lieutenant governor and the speaker of the House, and a chairman appointed by both.
"Bart's appointment to the Commission is a testament to his analytical and balanced approach to decision-making and is part of  our firm's commitment to promote an excellent judicial system for all Tennessee residents," said Mike St. Charles, president and managing shareholder of the Chambliss Law Firm.
Bart has also served on the governor's appointed Judicial Nominating Commission.
