Startup Week CHA (Oct. 12 - 16) brought together startup founders, thought leaders, community supporters, investors, and community business leaders to lead and attend a multi-day experience that celebrates and supports the area's entrepreneurial community. The Chambliss Startup Group hosted its fall social at Waterhouse Pavilion and two seminars at The Edney, the hub for the city's new "Innovation District."
Panelists David Hill and Paul Weidlich spoke at the "Who's Looking Out for Your IP?" seminar about intellectual property, trademarks, patents, and copyrights. Both are Chambliss shareholders.
Panelists Jason Mirmelstein, Chambliss shareholder, and Willa Kalaidjian, Chambliss associate, spoke at the "Getting Ready for Your Seed Round & A-Round" seminar. Chambliss shareholder Rick Hitchcock moderated their discussion on corporate and organizational matters, financials, intellectual property, and raising capital.
Attendees enjoyed food, drinks, great conversation, and "building" themed activities at the Chambliss Startup Group's "If We Build It, They Will Come" fall social.
