Aleyce Fontenot assists in the formation, governance, annual reporting, and dissolution of various nonprofit organizations, for-profit corporations, limited liability companies, and partnerships. Before joining the Business Section, Aleyce worked on litigation and personal injury matters in the Litigation and Risk Management Section. She assisted in the trial and resolution of serious and challenging personal injury actions on behalf of the injured, including actions involving trauma, brain injury, disfigurement, and loss of limb.
Prior to joining the firm, Aleyce worked at a law firm in Florida. She assisted three attorneys in the areas of family law, bankruptcy, collections, real estate transactions and litigation, residential and commercial landlord-tenant matters, land use and zoning, homeowners' and condominium associations, small and medium size business entities and partnerships, foreclosure defense, criminal defense, and estate planning. She also assisted with the day-to-day management of the law practice.
